HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!! I've haven't updated in so long! I'm sorry, folks. It's just that I'm not that good with live journals, and I've been busy with alot of things lately. Like school...My 5th period teacher is such a bitch, she's just makeing it so difficult for me to pass. But soon I'm gonna be switched out of her class. HOO HA! Anyways, I have to work real hard this last part of the year to pass the 9th grade, plus, I have to admit my love to a girl that I like, so it's either take it or leave it!!!!! There have been lots of good movies I saw in the past few months. Like in Febuary, I saw "Constantine", I also saw "Boogeyman" with my Mom and her friends, and "the Pacifier" from which I saw last week with my parents. And THIS week I'm seeing "Robots" with my friend and my parents....Whew! Next month, two new movies that I'm looking forward to are coming out- "Frank Miller's SIN CITY" and......*drum roll* THE HITCHHIKERS GUIDE TO THE GALAXY! YES! *dances* Heh....Well, I bet you haven't heard one of these in awhile... IN THE WORLD OF ANIME: ANIME NEWS *sits at the newsdesk* Goodevening, I'm James Daly. In most recent news, "Frank Miller's 'Sin City'" makes it's way into theaters April 11- Based off of the legendary comic by Frank Miller. It's directed by Robert Rodriguez (who directed the non successful "Spy Kids" after making it's two predissesors) And stars Bruce Willis as Hartigan, Jessica Alba as Nancy and Mickey Rourke as Marv. But the question is, can the movie live up to the comic? Of course this comes to the subject of recent "Anime movie" projects for the upcomeing years...But the fans are worried about this, because they're worried that the movie might not live up to the comic or anime and ultimately fucking suck. But some might acually make it which is only a list of......*Dramatic Drum roll* WHOOP DI DOO! A LIST WITH ONLY ONE MOVIE THAT CAN MAKE IT!!!! And that's the announced "Lupin the 3rd" live action movie, recently by the media over the internet. Which (quite possibly) can be done, due to it's fictional "Realisum" to it. Other movie's such as the annouced "Evangelion" movie just...well...might not make it.... Also, be expecting a live action "Astro Boy" movie from Twentyth Century Fox...not much is known about this movie except for.....it's gonna suck.....major....major balls.... The manga and anime indistry may seem insane, yes? Not entirely, because this indistry- all manga and anime companys in all...is reaching it's financeical peek...Over 500 billon dollars this year and the next....maybe even more. Anyways, the reason that the Anime indistry is "Selling out" and handing anime over to the silver screen is beacause for popularty reasons...and industrial expantion. It's such a big thing now with a lot of teens and kids and even adults, that it's time for a real turning point in the franchise. But yes, it's all for the money too...which I think...is bogus.... Insane, yes....Outrageous to all fans...certianly.....chance for success?...a very good "Maybe".... In the meantime, your stinger for the week.... *the screen next to him switches on to reveal Vash dancing in his underwear doing the macherania on a table* .....Goodnight everybody...... /// Well, that's it for me...In the meantime, keep your mind clean and your toenails free of toejam- OTAKU POWER!!!!! Hello all fellow followers, otakus and friends! Whew! What a weekend has it been! It's been so busy, yet so tireing, that I think I might go to bed early tonight. Here's what I did. On Friday, after I got home from school, my friend came over. We played games, ate dinner, watched some movies and TV, then spent the night...The next day, we both woke up early and went to Orlando for the "Islands of Adventure" trip. My God, that was the most fun I had in years! Rode the Hulk Coaster 3 times in one day, plus, went on the Jurassic Park River Adventure, which scared the shit outta me (Oh god, you should see the on-ride photo that I got.) We went on all of the other rides, and they were allright. (Dueling Dragons was most awesome!) But it was all VERY tireing and fun. After I got home, I passed out on the bed and got some sleep. Sunday was just a chill day. I sat around, watching TV with my mom, drawing and playing some games. But today at school was worse because my alergies were acting up horribly. Plus, I couldin't stay awake in class and almost fell asleep, it was like ya had 200 pound sandbags tied to your eyelids, closing them shut...That's why, I'm taking the privilage to go to bed early tonight after I'm done talking to you people. But on the bright side of things, it's getting closer to Winter! (yay!) getting colder by the minute. Nice and Chilly for me, that way I can show off my awesome new sweater! (and better yet, cool down and get a break from the heat.) But it seems that, people here in Gainesville are accustomed to the cold. Some of the people practicly don't wear any frickin' jackets or long pants at all! They are just standing out there in the cold, wearing casual summer clothing, chatting up a storm and havin' a good ol' time like nothin' has happend, while I stand over in the corner, dressed like a fuckin' Eskimo, freezeing my nipples to a crisp. It makes me ask the question if I am the only person from Tampa here....Because, when ya live down south, in the heat. Nothin' can't survive the cold in the winter...Well, I may be used to the cold, but it can get abit too much for me sometimes. I'm just a guy who's used to a tropical inviroment, I guess...... I don't have any Anime News for today, but I'll write a full seperate segment tomorrow, Ok? Alright! That's it for now. In the meantime, keep your mind clean and your toenails fee of toejam- OTAKU POWER! Hello all fellow followers, friends and otakus! ONE MORE DAY! ARROOOUF! *gangsta' bark* Only 4 more hours till' I become fifteen! I have a day off from school tomorrow, so that will be fun. I'll be goin' out to do some fun stuff! Cannot wait. OTAKU POWER! But also today is a day of dread.....(or what's left of it) today was the long awaited elections of 2004. There is still time, to all of you people out there- GO OUT AND VOTE! THERE IS STILL TIME! This is it...Bush or Kerry. It's the Americans choise now. I wish to let my political oppinon be a secret to the public. As to prevent outbursts and arguments (Don't like confrontations ><) But, show them your oppinon by voteing. Today, in school. We watched "Gladiator" in my History class, loads of fun...But the rest of the day went by regularly. It was ok, but some worry about the vote and other personal feelings got in the way. I'm just so confused....and angry. Mixed feelings all around. I called my friend Heather to talk to her but she didn't sound too well, so I asked her what's wrong, and she let's everything out in a continuous display of cussing and random yelling...All that, and I truly felt her anger. It was a pain that really twisted me inside, I tried to help, but I seem to slip up, because both Heather and I were sharing the same feelings. A feeling that was being transfered to me, that's what sucks about myself. Whenever I'm around people, their feelings just seem to toutch me on the inside. It's a really weird feeling, but I bet most people get it too.....But it was a good thing, telling me her problems. Because she let all that negitive shit out. It's good to talk to someone close about serious stuff every once in awhile. It can really help ya out, because that loved one can help you...It's comferting to know that ya have someone close to help. After that little convo, we were pretty much alright. Everythang was alright. Halloween was a blast. My friend came over to my place, then we went to my other friends house, where he was having his birthday/halloween party. There, we pretty much saw old friends and went trick or treating for candy. Oh! And it's time to reaveal who I was for Halloween! I was..............VAN HELSING! It was an awesome costume, the trenchcoat, the vest...the whole thing. I had my rosery, cap gun, flashlight, flash beacon, glowsticks EVEN THOSE SPINNING TOJO BLADES THAT HE HAD! It was Trick.....awesome..... It was a pretty nice weekend, but now it's gonna get even NICER...when I go to Universal this weekend with my friend for a b-day trip. That about wraps it up for personal news...now it's time for- IN THE WORLD OF ANIME: ANIME NEWS Wow....So much I've been thinking about lately, and yet so much news to talk about. I've been thinking about GAINAX and their work that they have done sense 1997, when the all-famous and infamous "Neon Genesis: EVANGELION" came out. Then other series followed like "FLCL". It makes you think that they are on the lunitic fringe....In my oppinon, they are. And with rumors and stories going about, the private press has confirmed that there IS GOING TO BE A LIVE ACTION EVANGELION MOVIE COMING OUT. Still rumors and whispers going about, but the true facts that it's going to be a high-budget, special effects extraviganza. Staying true to the consept of Evangelion, and keeping it's personal charm, for creeping the living daylights out of otakus and veiwers everywhere. But my question for the public is that- Is this movie sutible for public? Surely, there is dozens of Hollywood flops (let's not forget about "GILI" or whatever it's called *shivers*) But most otakus don't agree that NO anime...and I mean ANY anime, cannot make it to the live action world AND to the silver-screen. That could be at a disatvantige. But the major consern, is NGE's story and consept...And by now your thinking "The Angels, Lillith, Adam, Eva's, souls, Insanity issues, religious problems." That's right. Eva's "charm" could be too disturbing for the open public, as can cause religious problems and MAJOR protests against the people who funded and created it. Need I mention what happened when the PASSION came out? *shivers* lots of problems and rediculous stories occor. Also, need I mention the british airwave brodcast of "the War of the Worlds" on the radio, read by Orson Wells back in the mid 50's or 60's I guess. But it caused people to throw themselfs out of windows! (even though the story was fake, but the Narrator stupidly made it sound like it was real) But this could cause the same problems for strong believers and other people everywhere. This is just my oppinon folks, with supporting facts to back it up. So the question is- LIVE ACTION EVANGELION MOVIE- Is it safe for public? So I leave that question to you now.....what do YOU think.... (Resorses: http://eva.trivialbeing.net/) ///// (Mock News) And in other news, Misato Katsuragi is being pressed charges against for stealing iligal pornagraphy from the black market...When she was told how this would affect her love intrest, she simply replied- "To show proof of my guiltyness of betraying my love intrest, is who I think of when I mastrabate" *picture of James Daly shows up on the T.V. beside me* Goodnight everyone. ///// That's all for now! I'm outtie! In the meantime, keep your mind clean and your toenails free of toejam- OTAKU POWER! Hello all fellow followers, otakus and friends! Sorry I have not updated the past few days, I have been so busy with running errands, school and downtime with my family....Anyways- MOVIN' ON! On Saturday and Sunday, nothing interested happened besides I went on down to Block'inbuster (Blockbuster) to rent a movie and game, the game I rented was "Silent Hill 4: the room" I recomend it to you, but if your not a big fan of horror games, then the best option is to not play it (duh...) Monday, Tuesday and Wensday was just nothing but busy, slow and BORING school days, but I have been busy counting down the days till my Birthday! WHOO YA! Can't wait! Tomorrow is going to be a cool day at school, because we're doing scary story telling in my English class, and having a Holloween party in algebra....Then, it will only be 4 days till I become 15....and that signifies that I only have *counts silently* another 5 more steps till' I become a man......And that is the day where I will be most happy! UUUUUUWAAAAAAGH....*raises arms and floats a few inches up off the ground* So, pretty much...this week has gone by like a drawn out "Blegh"....it's like a platter of some mixed shit and stuff that is served to you and that you have to eat it....in very....small bites, and chew VERY slowly to get the flavor *shivers* But anyways, let's move onto- IN THE WORLD OF ANIME: ANIME NEWS On the subject of Catgirls and Bunny girls I've been thinking lately about the favorate and most loved consept in anime....Anime Cat Girls and Bunny Girls. But those are just the popular ones, this applies also to Elf Girls, Dog Girls, Mouse Girls and so on. But I was recently conversing with my friend on the bus about Bunny Girls and Cat Girls, and what would happen if they accually DID roam the Earth. Well, my first oppinion is to make catgirls and bunnygirls, you would have to have a big advancement in genetic spliceing and gene spliceing, plus and shitload of money, and a few canidates to become...well....Bunnys and Cats. But they would have to go through the prosedure of one cell getting spliced with an animal cell, then ejected into the woumb of a volinteer mother. This traditional way has to be done, because it will develop the animalgirl more better and so that the cell structure and body may stay intact, so that it won't overload...an example would be Nicole Kidman's charater in "Batman Returns" as Catwoman...she didn't look too good in the end, didn't she? She bacame more primal because she was INFLUENCED by cats, not actually becomeing one. That influence just gave her more strength, power and reflexes to keep movin' and stuff, she was just insane and underwent a mental breakdown. Anyways, now that is through with, let me give you my two personal oppinons about Catgirls and Bunnygirls, and why or why not they should walk the Earth. Bunny girls: This is where the term "they fuck like Bunnys" comes into use. Sense bunnys reproduce faster than any other thing on the planet, they would have a very advantageous power over the men, and theirfore, lots of "Rocking the casbah" will occor, sense for they are very VERY horny. Then the whole earth will be overpopulated faster than you know it. And we would be in big trouble....This is why I do not think they should not exist. Cat Girls: catgirls have more of a mellow personality than dogs or bunnys. Theirfore, they will have more of a human-like personaliy. But of corse there is the disadvantageous lazyness and hours of sleep. But they would have the human qualitys that follow, except for hairballs, the licking of paws, and the tail, ears and shit. So they would acually past as citizens of this planet. But, it's my oppinon, right? What's YOUR oppinon? On one last quote. The fact passes is that we all cannot play God....For there is a price to pay if you do it, the facts are stated above, the rewards and consiquences of our actions. But, now sense there is already genetic cloneing experiments goin' on, is there really no point in stateing this message of warning? That's all for now. I'm outtie! SIDENOTE (Day off today)
Hello, fellow Otakus, followers, readers and friends! Today was a teacher's work day at school, so that ment I had (and the rest of the Alauchua county kids) a day off from school! Ain't that grand? To start off, I got up till about 11:00 this morning, and talked with my dad about go seeing a movie, and so we did. We went and saw "Hero" at the 1:00 showing....I will be honest and say it wasn't all that great, but the cinemaography and photagraphy was spectacular! But I finally figured out WHY the dudes in those "crouching tiger" movies fly....it's a type of medaphorical value, I think...or a type of art. Who knows? It was the Matrix that kicked off the whole damn thing. That went on for about two hours, then we went down to Lowe's to pick up a few things, then we met up with mom for dinner at the Outback. Afterwards, it was the moment of truth for me......I went over to "Center Stage" holloween store to buy a costume for holloween.....And what I am going to be for holloween is.... ........your just goin' to have to wait and see. *grins from ear to ear* it's a suprise. AND NO! IT'S NOT THE VILLAGE PEOPLE! So, now I'm here, sippin' a coca-cola and thinkin' about the rant I'm writeing right now...And now it's on to your daily Anime News! IN THE WORLD OF ANIME: ANIME NEWS Now listen up, cuz this is importaint. Now why does all these non-otaku people ditz anime so much? they call it stupid and say "it sucks" or they mistaken it for a show about an electified rat. It's half racial, half-cruel, and all stupid. They call it "cartoons" which really pisses me off. They lump it in with all of the other things they think is so "strange" or "not cool", when it's really a great art to behold and cherrish in it's so many diffrent forms and ways. It's the thing with this world now adays. They are so afraid to try new things and see what they have been missing. It can only end up with harsh and cruel words to say to the people that like the stuff. People should have a right to have the freedom to express themselfs and their minds through a type of hobby or thing they like the most. You just can't point and laugh at it without looking at it, then walk away like some doofus wearing a thong trying to look hot. Look at it and behold, then judge... But then again, people seemed too closed up now....But maybe I'm wrong. See you guys later! That's it for now. I'm outtie! Hello fellow followers, friends and otakus! Well, today wasn't the best of days. I forgot a poster board at school which was supposed to be due as a group project for History class......God, that was a fuck up. Now my team mates think I'm a total fag. But, I never did wanted to work with them in the first place, they did seem like nice people, but they just had major problems........But, we got half the grade for not having the poster board, so it's not that bad. Holloween is next week, and I don't know who to dress up as. I wanted to be Kronen from "Hellboy", but his outfit would have been too expencive to get (even though I would look like a major badass! OTAKU POWER!) But now I'm stumped on who I want to be!!!!!!!! It's another problem that's now have to be weighed down on my shoulders. On November 3rd, it's my birthday, so that's something to look forward to! WOOHOO! that's gonna kick major ass. IN THE WORLD OF ANIME: ANIME NEWS Megatokyo just seems to be getting grim. It often depresses me and gives me a weird feeling sometimes, when I read the comics. Plus, it gives me a obvious feeling, that Mr. Freddy Ghallagher is putting his feelings and problems on paper (even though Megatokyo has a plot and story) It just so seems that it's stuck in that stage. Yea, sure, it's ok to experiment, but not when your writeing a webcomic. It just seems like an iternity before it's published into a manga, then the event has come and gone when you read it. But it takes even more time when your working on the comic and submitting it to the website one page/strip at a time (and it takes time too to make one comic) But it's stuck in phase or gears, or whatever the fuck you like to call the moral phrase. But, it seems that it's getting out of that stage and it will get more into that comidic genere. And yes, I know, you have to have abit of a few bumpy roads along the way in the corse of the story, so don't shoot or sue me. If ya try to, you'll be meeting up with my Nightstick, giving you a smash to the head. WHOO HA! Well, that's it for today. I'm outtie! Hello, guys. This is my first entry in this journal! So don't shoot me if I say anything stupid. First of all, it's a pleasure to be here. And second, thanks for reading the Article- MOVIN' ON! School's been tough for me. It kind of frustrates you that people have to try to come up to you each day and try to ruin it for ya, just for the way you look or act. It's been happening with me in school lately, with them making fun of my obsession and hobby with anime/manga. It's retarted.....I act weird sometimes, maybe that's the case! I read manga and draw, but that doesn't make me a nerd...It just makes me a common man, who likes a uniqe hobby. Everybody KNOWS (maybe not everyone) that cartoons were big in Japan, because in that time, in World War 2, it was the only thing they could make to entertain people. Also the fact, that they could not show any War footage on the BoobTube (T.V.) because they were afraid of war propiganda! (see, you learn something new everyday, don't you?) ANYWAY, the people have no sense of judgement whatsoever. Not that I'm judging THEM, it's just that I'm reminding myself that they don't look before they leap. And that's an essencial to life, fellow friends and followers. If you don't look where your heading on that dark highway, you can slip up, crash, and become a smoldering pileo'shit. In other words, it can get ya in trouble. Hobbys is just what ya do, it doesn't have to be a big problem, unless your a pimp. *shifts eyes* People who take time in judgement and realize the person you are, is gonna be your good friends for life. Trust me on this one. Well, that's it for now. I'm outtie! In the meantime, keep your mind clean and your toenails free of toejam- OTAKU POWER!
